I am SO EXCITED!!!!!
The book for the 28 Day Kick The Sugar Challenge is finally done, and I can’t wait for you to be able to get your copy and join me in learning more about how food works and the way sugar is affecting our health. I have worked tirelessly to ensure this book is a resource that you will be able to refer to long after your Challenge has ended.
A friend of mine and fellow Challenger said “this book will be a ‘life book'”, something she will read over and over again to ensure she’s squeezed every last drop out of it.
I hope it lives up to her expectations and I am truly optimistic that it will. It is the book I wish I had read when I first got started on my path towards health and fitness. I needed to know that I wasn’t alone and I needed things broken down into digestible pieces. Having everything, all in one place, would have helped me make sense of all the information I was finding.
So, I have created what I needed. For you.
Loving Ourselves To Health
14 years ago, I had just gotten sober and I was looking to improve my health and wellness. I had spent years treating my body like a trash can and I wanted to learn as much as I could about bettering myself.
It all felt so overwhelming back then, and so I feel my job has been to remove the overwhelm and break it down into a system that will see you more empowered, more knowledgeable, and much healthier, both mentally and physically, after you go through it.
Physically removing sugar is the easy part. It’s working through our reasons for wanting it and getting to a place of self-respect, self-trust and self-love that will help us make better choices throughout the rest of our lives.
That is my mission. To help you see that self-love is at the heart of health. We don’t hate our bodies into becoming what we want them to be…we love them there.
And love is at the heart of the Challenge.
I can’t wait for you to read the book and for us to be able to go through the 28 days together.
When I first launched the Challenge back in February, I didn’t have a formalized plan for it. I sent daily emails to Challengers and the entire thing evolved out of the feedback I was receiving and the questions they were asking. It was an iterative process, and I am eternally grateful to the Beta group of the Challenge for informing the journey.
But I quickly realized that I needed something more systemized so that everyone could be on the same page. People were missing emails or they didn’t check daily…some people were missing posts in the private Facebook group where I shared links to cool content.
The book stemmed out of a need to formalize and organize the Challenge, and although I underestimated the time it would take for me to write the book, it is done! It is ready for you and I am beyond excited for you to get your hands on your very own copy.
Getting Your Copy
And I have exciting news!
I am ironing out the kinks as we speak, but my plan is to charge you what it costs me for a book. I want this book to get into as many hands as possible, and so my goal isn’t to “sell books” but to create a movement.
I am not doing this to make money; I am doing this to change lives.
I want to inspire people to know that if I can do it, they can do it, too.
In the coming days, you will receive an update on how to order your very own copy.
I’m also putting together a way for those of you who really want to dive in and get the support and accountability from others on the Challenge, to get it.
I also offer ways to get more from me; live trainings and support where I hope to educate, inspire and motivate you towards achieving your goals. It would be my honour to serve you.
So, that’s all from me today; an update on where we are at with the book and an offer to help you get access to it in a way that feels easy.
Because I know that changing our relationship with food is hard enough and I want to do whatever I can to help you love your way to better health.
Because I want you to love your life one bite at a time.
