Taking Our Power Back

Yesterday, class started for those enrolled in The 6 Week Sugar Freedom eCourse and I couldn’t be more excited to help people begin to create a lifestyle they LOVE.

If you were on the fence and have decided that you DO want to join us, it’s not too late!

Head over and register so that you can begin with the introductory lesson and then complete the work for Week 1 before Sunday, when we will enjoy our first LIVE online Q&A session (where you type your questions and I answer them on video—you see me, but I don’t see you). 🙂

Over the weekend, I was honoured to share my philosophy with the She Recovers community. They are a group of over a quarter of a million women in recovery from everything from cancer and other illnesses to alcoholism and other addictions.

Their ethos is simple: We are strong and courageous women, and we do recover.

I love that. Because it is true.

We ARE. And we DO.

I wrote about falling into traps when we rid our lives of something that has held us back, only to find ourselves doing something else to fill its place. I share my own experience when I quit drinking and started reaching for sugar, and I open up about how I have created strategies and tools in my own life that I now get to share with others.

If you’d like to read more about how I feel we can all live lives we are proud of, check out the post here.

I believe that each time we reach for something outside of ourselves in order to “fix” something or soothe a feeling, we give our power away. We stay stuck in our habits that aren’t serving us, which take us farther away from the life we want to be living.

And I want you to love your life one bite at a time.

P.S. To learn more about the eCourse and to see if there is a fit, click here. For a ONE TIME investment, you will receive six weekly video lessons from me, a weekly online Q&A session, and access to a private Facebook group. I have other bonuses in store as well, so click here for all the details!

P.P.S. I have had a lot of people ask me what the differences are between my book and my online course. I see the Course as a great way to gently introduce people to the concepts in the book. The book is NOT a prerequisite, in fact, I recommend people take the course first and then decide if they want to get the book and do a 28 Day Challenge.

Where the book is more of an individual approach, requiring readers to implement the strategies on their own. the course allows you to connect with me, via video, and allows you to be a more active participant in the process. I will make sure you are keeping up with the content and homework, and making the changes to your life that you set out to make. You will also connect with a group of other people on the same journey, which keeps us all accountable and makes it more fun! I hope this helps clarify, but if you still have questions, feel free to comment here or email me at Sarah@SarahTalksFood.com.
