Making Decisions.(FREE GIFT)

If you’ve been with me for any length of time, you’ll know I am a huge fan of making decisions. Four years ago today, I made one that has had a dramatic ripple effect throughout every facet of my life, and I have YOU to thank. Four years ago, I launched this blog and posted my very first article called, fittingly, The Decision. I knew that doing so would open me up to criticism and judgment as I shared, for the first time, the reason why I’d become passionate about health and wellness and begun working in the field.

I shared my truth.

I removed my mask.

I allowed myself to be seen.

I stopped hiding, and what resulted was the furthest thing from criticism and judgment. Instead of any negativity, I received countless messages from readers who could relate, or had a loved one struggling with addiction, or simply wanted to cheer me on and support me on my journey of awakening. I received warmth and compassion where I’d been afraid I’d be cast aside and judged, criticized, put down.

My fear held me back for so long and your support allowed me to know I was on the right track. After the blog launched the book came next, then the courses and my coaching, the health expo, the sobriety podcast, my TV show and everything else that’s been given permission to bubble up inside of me. Not all ideas get pushed forward, but knowing that I have your support has given me wings to fly and I am so incredibly grateful to you for being here, on this journey together.

Or is there something you’ve made into a habit that you’d like to stop doing? Remember that we don’t break habits, we replace behaviours. So, make a swap today that leads you closer to where you want to go. Coke drinker? Try swapping one today for sparkling water and lime. Candy junkie? Try swapping your night time fix for a bowl of berries. Critical of others? Try watching your thoughts today and see if you can catch yourself in the moment. One decision has the capacity to change your whole life. Where will you go? What will you do? Who will you be?
