3 Things I DON’T Do For My Health(and 3 Things I DO).

I receive a lot of messages from people asking me “how to get and stay healthy”. My health story has evolved over the course of my lifetime, and what I’ve learned in my 18+ years of seeking optimal health is that getting and staying healthy is simpler than we may even realize. You see, we live in a world that over-complicates things as a way to keep us from trusting our own inner wisdom. Our culture relies on our confusion in order to sell us products and programs that only seem to lighten our bank accounts rather than delivering real, lasting improvements to our health story.

The truth is, optimal health can mostly be achieved by doing things that are no more expensive–and take even less time–than the things we do to experience poor health.

So, what gives? What’s the SECRET? What do we need to KNOW in order to experience optimal health? What do we need to DO? And what do we need to NOT do? And why does it seem so easy for some people while the rest of us feel like we head into each day as if we were heading into battle?

When it comes right down to it, our health is primarily a result of our beliefs. What I mean is, the people who feel the healthiest are the people who believe that their health is important and so they make decisions in their lives that support that belief. They take actions every day that lead them closer to optimal health, and when they make decisions that go against their beliefs, they do so with eyes wide open. They feel the effects of their choices and they use the experience as information that impacts their future decisions.

Quite simply, the people who enjoy optimal health believe that prioritizing it makes a difference. They stay mindful that without their health, NOTHING else matters–the houses, the cars, the titles and the watches don’t mean a thing when they aren’t able to enjoy them.

So, the NUMBER ONE thing I do for my health is I treat it as a priority. I don’t take it for granted and I work hard for it every, single day.

That’s it. Seems simple enough, doesn’t it?

But HOW do I do that? And WHAT do I do? And, you might be thinking, “Easy for you to say, Sarah, you’re ALREADY ‘healthy’, what about me?”

Don’t worry! I’ve got you covered, no matter where you are on your health journey, and over the next 6 days, I will be sending an email per day to anyone who subscribes to my blog where I’ll share the 3 things I DON’T do along with the 3 things I DO, in order to enjoy optimal health.

I hope you’ll join me (it’s free to sign up!) as I share these strategies that have allowed me to create a lifestyle I love, in a body that feels like HOME.

Because I want you to love your life one bite at a time.

If you’ve been curious about the program and want to cook with me in my kitchen while learning tools and strategies to help you live your BEST life while uncovering patterns that have kept you stuck, you won’t want to miss out on the next round! We start on Monday, March 16th, 2020. I’d love to schedule a call to chat and you can visit OBAATCoaching.com to learn more if you’re curious. Here are a few words from my students:

“My connection to eating certain foods in exchange for comfort is a huge revelation for me. I had just never seen it that way. I felt so supported by you as a teacher too, you have such a kind and strong way of holding us during the 12 weeks through material that isn’t always easy to look at.” ~ Natha

“I am so full of emotions right now. I cannot believe it’s been 3 months – really can’t. I had to stop and then go back to watch because I found myself feeling emotional, sometimes sad, sometimes marveling at the difference that 12 weeks can make. I know I am just starting this journey and I know it’s an ongoing process. I feel as if OBAAT has just begun to scratch the surface (although believe me, at times I thought “I can’t do this, it’s too hard, it’s too emotional”) but I trust Sarah and I trust this process. I know I have more work to do. But this has been truly life-changing. Truly. And I’m glad I’m continuing on with OBAAT because I do not want to lose this momentum.” ~ JoAnne

“I’ve known Sarah for about a year now, and I can tell you that she is one of the most honest, genuine and loving people I’ve met. Her programs have given me many real life tools to help me with my ever-evolving relationship with food and body image. I’d encourage you to reach out to Sarah if you’re curious. She is so accessible and very open about her personal journey. I’m happy to answer any questions about my own experience.” ~ Megan
